NZITO is a charitable trust and a recognised Industry Training Organisation (ITO) that is gazetted by NZ Government to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the dairy manufacturing industry, the meat processing industry (excluding poultry), the seafood industry, the leather manufacturing industry, the meat inspection industry, the baking yeasts manufacturing industry and fellmongery. We were the first ITO established under the Industry Training Act (1992) and have grown to be the most cost effective and largest ITO (in trainee numbers) in New Zealand.

NZITO will act as a broker for a companies training needs coordinating this through our national training support centre at the Innovation Park, Ruakura, Hamilton. From here our Training Advisors can assist you to find the best training option, choice of training provider, arrange for appropriate qualifications and confirm the training delivery requirements. We also have Training Account Coordinators who are our field representatives and who visit clients to ensure their training needs are being met.
