Steps to Training

  1. Contact our national support centre (email link and main phone number)
  2. Identify your training needs – this can be done with the assistance of our Training Advisors who can undertake a site visit and complete a Training Needs Analysis. Sometimes this can involve an RCC which is Recognition of Current Competence, or RPL a Recognition of Prior Learning.
  3. Decide upon a training program within the qualification framework most appropriate for your staff and business
  4. Complete a Training Plan and a Training Agreement
  5. Send the completed Training Plan and Training Agreement to NZITO and the process will be under way.
  6. We will then arrange for a quote to have the training provided (if training is off-site. The quote will include the subsidy available upon qualification completion)
  7. You will then need to accept the quote and send us the signed copy via fax, email or post, as authorisation to arrange the training.
  8. We will arrange the training and confirm all the details with you. We will also monitor the training and make sure it is assessed and moderated to NZQA standards.
  9. The results of the training will be submitted to NZQA and we will invoice you the cost of the training, less the available subsidised funding.
